The next time your kid needs a minute to recharge after playing in the heat, encourage him to try this yoga-inspired breathing exercise: Sit cross-legged on the ground and inhale through pursed lips to bring cool air in. Then exhale through the nose to send warm air out. Repeat 5 to 10 times.
