Keep the kids occupied on St. Patrick’s day with this simple vegetable stamping activity. The peppers give a festive flair with their natural clover shape, while the stems provide an easy-to-grip handle.


Bell Peppers
Non-toxic paint
Bag or paper


Parent: Cut the bell peppers directly in half using a knife.

Child: Scoop out pepper seeds using a spoon.

Parent: Squirt paint onto individual plates.

Child: Dunk peppers into paint and stamp onto chosen craft canvas. Be sure to push down on the tops so the outline comes out clear.
