The Boston Marathon bombing on April 15, 2013 is a terrible crisis that’s still unfolding.
But here’s what we do know: After tragedies occur, good people must step in, and help pick up the pieces. Below is a list of ways to aid Boston in the aftermath, from monetary donations to assisting with housing for stranded families.
- Donate to the American Red Cross. (Currently, the organization is not asking for blood donations.)
- The Salvation Army is offering food and counseling. Click here to donate to their Emergency Disaster Services.
- If you live near Boston, you can help someone who is displaced. Click here if you need somewhere to stay, or click here if you have room to house runners.
Our hearts and minds are with Boston during this time, so let’s show our support.
