Buying organic is more than just a passing trend.

According to a recent study, U.S. families are buying more organic products in a wide range of categories, with 81 percent of responders now reporting they purchase organic at least “sometimes.”

This (encouraging) statistic, along with the findings below, are from the 2013 U.S. Families’ Organic Attitudes and Beliefs Study, brought to you by KIWI magazine and the Organic Trade Association.

The findings are based on responses from 1,239 U.S. households about their attitudes and behaviors related to organic foods. Interested in reading the whole study? Purchase it here.

Check out the below inforgraphic for highlights from our research, and then share the statistics on social media! We’d also love to hear your thoughts: Let us know in the comments section why you choose to shop organic.
