Ever made nut or seed butter? It’s easier than you think—and since March is National Peanut Month, now’s just the time to give it a try.

Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

2 cups of your favorite roasted nuts or seed

1 teaspoon of canola oil

A pinch of salt

A touch of your child’s favorite sweetener, spice, or other flavor

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, process for 5 to 10 minutes, until a smooth paste forms. (Stop frequently to scrape down the sides.) So simple, it’s nuts!
