Celebrate Earth Day's 40th Anniversary on April 24 at Highland Hall Waldorf School in Northridge California and experience inspirational and life-changing education. This yearWhole Children, Whole Planet is working in partnership with CBS-2, KCAL-9, KOST 103.5FM, local and national magazines including KIWI Magazine, restaurants, organizations and many others to present a FREE community event that is slated to be the largest Earth Day celebration in the greater Los Angeles area.
This eco-friendly family event promises to be a day filled with non-stop education and entertainment for all ages. There will be exhibitors, prizes, organic food, music and more. Free workshops will cover a wide range of hot topics and attendees are encouraged to ensure their seat by signing up in advance online.
The Main Stage will feature entertainment throughout the day from a variety of known, and not-so-known, talented and amazing performers while the Enrichment Village will offer hands-on activities to engage, inspire and elevate children (and adults) to explore their creative curious minds and nurture their inner talents.
Visit the Mom Lounge where there will be two scheduled round table discussions: Women's Voices for Conscious Birthing & Parenting Practices with women from Attachment Parenting Int., La Leche League, the Doula Association, Pregnancy Awareness Month, Hypnobirthing (and others) and The Sexy Mom Expert, Allana Pratt and friends will discuss how to honor your body after childbirth, reclaim your sexuality, and reignite your passion. There will also be continuous support and demonstrations from experts about breastfeeding, cloth diapering and attachment parenting practices.
Arnos is asking the public to kick the plastic water bottle habit and bring their own reusable water bottles, which can be filled up for free at the LifeSource Water station, available all day at no charge.
