  1. Use a reusable tablecloth or blanket
  2. Pack organic fruit salad (include some kiwifruit)
  3. Stay local; walk to the park instead of driving
  4. Make sure to clean up after your party
  5. Make organic sandwiches; try Sunbutter—made from sunflower seeds—and jelly 
  6. Prepare a fresh salad
  7. Use reusable, earth friendly containers
  8. Turn picnic leftovers into compost
  9. Use natural bug repellent
  10. Use natural sunscreen
  11. Bring along a bamboo picnic basket
  12. Use bamboo cutlery
  13. Use reusable, recycled plates and cups
  14. Make sure to recycle plastic and glass bottles 
  15. Get in your daily exercise with a friendly game of baseball or soccer
  16. Be international and learn cricket or croquet
