Avocado Honey Dip

If you’re at your wit’s end with your little eater, try adding a new element to mealtime: dip. Dipping makes dishes more interesting and interactive—and this Avocado Honey Dip is healthier, thanks to the good-for-you fat in the avocado. It’s great for veggies, fruits, pretzel sticks, and just about anything else your child wants to try.

Total time: 10 minutes


  • 1 avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1⁄4 cup whipped cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and mash together. (You can also put all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth.)
  2. Serve with cut-up veggies, crackers, pretzels, or as a spread on toast.
Makes 1 cup
