Miranda Cosgrove is everyone’s favorite teen, Carly Shay, in the hit Nickelodeon series iCarly.  She is also well known for her roles as Megan Parker in Drake and Josh and Summer Hathaway in School of Rock (photo courtesy of Nickelodeon).

 

Kiwi Magazine asked  Miranda a few questions about her favorite books and places to read:

 Q: What are you reading now?

A: I’m currently reading a super cute book called “Marley and Me” about a couples experience trying to raise a puppy. I was first interested in reading it because I absolutely love dogs and a friend of mine had read it and she really loved it. My favorite thing about it so far is the way the narrator tells the story because it makes you feel like you are there with him.

 Q: What’s your favorite all-time book? 

A:  To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorite book of all time because I just love everything about it. I watched the movie before I read the book and it was great but the book was even better! I also really like all of Beverly Clearly’s books! I used to read them like crazy when I was younger.

 Q: What’s your favorite reading-related memory?

A: When I was little all my friends and I had a book club that we created. They used to all come over and we would have meetings in my tree house and read the book series “Junie B. Jones” lol.

 Q: What’s your favorite place to read?

A: My favorite place to read would have to be in my room or on the beach during the summer.
