Hersheypark Christmas Candylane Offers “The Sweetest Season of Giving”

The holiday season celebrates giving and sharing with family and friends. In keeping with the spirit of the season, Hersheypark Christmas Candylane is teaming up with VF (Vanity Fair) Outlet Center and PennLive to recognize an individual who has unselfishly contributed to make the world a better place in 2008.

Individuals who are 18 or older can nominate a deserving person by visiting the website http://www.christmasinhershey.com/contests/sweetest_season_giving/index.php

Nominations will be accepted through December 7. All nominations must be in English and are limited to 300 words. Multiple entries for the same nominee are allowed, and individuals may nominate more than one person. All nominees must be 18 or older. The staff of Hersheypark and VF Outlet will serve as judges.

The winner of the contest will be awarded “The Sweetest Season of Giving” grand prize package, which includes accommodations for up to four people for one night at Hershey Lodge; four admission tickets to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane and Hershey Sweet Lights (for the 2008 operating season) or four one-day admission tickets to Hersheypark for the 2009 season; a $1,000 shopping spree at VF Outlet in Reading, Pa.; a $100 Tommy Hilfiger gift card; a $25 gift card to each of the following outlet stores: Black & Decker, Carter’s, Dressbarn, KB Toys, Osh Kosh, Phillips Van Heusen (valid at Geoffrey Beene, Bass or Van Heusen), Reading China & Glass, Reebok, Timberland; and a $20 Rue 21 gift card.
