I Love My Mama Sweepstakes

Eligibility:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. This Sweepstakes is open only to legal U.S. residents (excluding Puerto Rico residents) who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees and contract employees of Sponsor NGHT, Inc., d/b/a National Geographic Kids Entertainment (“Sponsor”), May Media Group LLC and their affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, parents and their immediate families or persons living in the same household of such individuals, are ineligible. SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Schedule:
The Sweepstakes begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on April 15, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on July 31, 2008. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EDT on July 31, 2008.
How to enter:
To enter go to http://www.kiwimagonline.com, click in "Sweepstakes" section, and follow instructions. Complete all required data on the entry form and hit “submit.” One (1) entry per day per e-mail address.
All entries become property of Sponsor. They will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible entries or for any computer-related, online, telephonic, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, or obtained through fraud or theft. Entries will be considered made by authorized account holder of e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.
Prize:
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected. Grand Prize Winner will receive a three-night, four day trip to Niagara Fall, Canada for Grand Prize Winner and three guests. The Grand Prize includes round-trip coach-class airfare for four (4) from the commercial airport nearest Grand-prize winner's home to the destination; accommodations for four (4) days and three (3) nights; a full-size car rental for 3 days; Helicopter ride for four (certain age-restrictions apply) over the falls with Niagara Helicopters Limited; Whirlpool jet boat tour for four (season-permitting, goes out of water mid-oct) with WHIRLPOOL JET BOAT TOURS, 4 tickets to the top of the Skylon Tower, 4 tickets to Destination Cinema’s IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) is $4,999; actual retail value may vary depending upon the point of departure and fare fluctuation. Any difference between actual costs and ARV will not be awarded. Grand Prize Winner must coordinate with Sponsor regarding the date that the Grand Prize Winner wishes to travel, but must give Sponsor at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice of desired travel dates. Actual travel dates may vary and blackout dates and restrictions may apply. Travel must be completed between September 1, 2008 and September 31, 2009. Tips, fees, taxes, meals, and all other items not stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winner and travel companions. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. No prize transfer, assignment, or substitution permitted. Sponsor reserves right to substitute prize in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
Winner Selection:
Random selection of Grand Prize Winner will occur on or about August 15, 2008 from among all eligible entries received. The Grand Prize Winner will be notified by e-mail on or about August 16, 2008. Prize will be awarded. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received.
Redemption and Verification:
To redeem prize, winner must respond within ten (10) days of prize notification. Grand Prize Winner and Grand Prize Winner’s travel companions will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release before award of Grand Prize. Failure to comply will result in the forfeit of the Grand Prize and the selection of a substitute Grand Prize Winner from remaining eligible entries.
Limitation on Liability:
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications-line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to sweepstakes entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants' or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Right to Cancel or Suspend Sweepstakes:
If for any reason sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes.
Conditions of Participation:
Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companions must travel together on the same itinerary. Actual travel dates are subject to Sponsor’s discretion and conditions outside of Sponsor’s control. Travel, including seat selection and accommodations, is subject to availability and blackout periods. The trip may not be combined with any other offer. Regulations and conditions may apply. Grand Prize winner and Grand Prize winner’s travel companions will be responsible for all necessary travel authorizations and for any travel insurance. By accepting the Grand Prize, Grand Prize winner and his/her travel companions represent that they understand that travel, whether in developed or remote areas and whether by plane, automobile, boat, raft, or other conveyance, or by foot, on land or water, and in the air, contains some inherent element of risk of accident, illness, injury, loss or death, which may be caused by negligence, forces of nature, wild animals or other agencies, known or unknown. Grand Prize Winner and his/her travel companions represent that they recognize that such risks may be present at any time before, during, and after the trip. By participating, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, May Media Group LLC and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in the sweepstakes or any sweepstakes-related activities and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this sweepstakes. Participants agree (a) to be bound by official rules; (b) that decisions of the Sponsor are final; and (c) if he/she wins, to the use of his/her name and or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation (except residents of Tennessee and where prohibited by law) and upon request, to provide consent to such use in writing.
All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges on prize are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner.

For Grand Prize Winner’s name after August 16, 2008, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Sponsor at Mailing Address: National Geographic, I Love My Mama Sweepstakes, Attn: Emily Cohn, 1145 17th Street , NW, Room 6318M, Washington, DC 20036 (Vermont residents need not include return postage).
NOTICE TO INDIVIDUALS: REMOVAL FROM MAILING LIST: Any individual (or duly authorized person) may elect to exclude the name and address of that individual from all lists used by NGHT, Inc. to mail sweepstakes. To elect to have an individual’s name excluded from all such lists, submit a removal request in writing to Sponsor at Mailing Address. The notification system may be used to prohibit mailing of all skill contests or sweepstakes by NGHT, Inc. to such individual.
