Group Rowing

In this high-intensity class, participants row in unison on ergs as instructors teach proper form. The movement engages legs, core, and arms in addition to the back and shoulders, giving you a full-body workout.

Hot Barre

Celebrities and fitness gurus have been raving about ballet-inspired barre classes for some time. But now, many studios are taking a cue from Bikram yoga and adding heat to the mix. Hot barre takes place in a room heated to 100°F, allowing for greater relaxation, a deeper stretch, and the release of toxins through sweat.

Sup Yoga

This yoga variation puts you at one with nature as you pose on a stand-up paddle board floating on water. The challenge of staying stabilized on the board, which requires extra focus and strength, is balanced by the natural atmosphere and sounds of water that calm your mind and spirit. (There are also indoor classes that stimulate this experience.)

Treadmill Classes

Indoor running classes held on a bank of treadmills help increase cardio performance and perfect running techniques, all while giving you a calorie-killing workout with a stimulating group dynamic: Think of it as SoulCycle, revamped.
