| Hi Friends,
I am so excited about the results of my Recycled Art Contest. Many kids entered and the projects were amazing! I had to share some of the great crafts with you.
The Grand Prize winner is Madeline C.! She created an ocean scene using recycled soda and water bottles, a coffee creamer bottle, a maple syrup bottle, a cardboard gift-wrap tube, plastic bottle caps, and leftover paint. How cool is that? She wins an Earthopoly game, one of my favorites!
There were so many other entries that I loved:
- Ian M.’s robot was really cool. It was made from Styrofoam, plastic bottle caps, tin cans, loose wire, and Lego pieces. And it was life-size! I’ve never seen anything like that before.
- A whole preschool class did a project together: They made dolls out of boxes. When they do performances, the dolls are their audience!
- Trevor C. put together a long caterpillar out of bottle caps glued to paper. What a good way to use those!
Thanks to everyone who entered. And keep on recycling!
