shutterstock_29000392We all know that meditation-based exercises can help kids with everything from staying focused during homework time to relieving anxiety, but teaching your child to do them can difficult. Luckily, there are many mindfulness techniques that are specifically geared towards kids.

Here, Lisa Roberts, author of Breathe, Chill: A Handy Book of Games and Techniques Introducing Breathing, Meditation and Relaxation to Kids and Teens, shares four of her favorite mindfulness exercises for parents and kids to do together.
