In her new book, Drink Your Way to Gut Health, registered dietitian Molly Morgan makes adding probiotics to your diet easy with 140 smoothie and drink recipes. Three we love:

To boost energy: Tart Cherry Kefir

Combine 1 cup frozen dark cherries, ½ cup plain kefir, ½ cup 100 percent tart cherry juice and 4 or 5 ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth. (Click here for Morgan’s homemade kefir recipe.)

To strengthen immunity: Fresh Mango Kefir

Combine 1½ cups cubed fresh mango, 1 cup plain kefir, ½ cup light almond milk, and ¼ cup 100 percent carrot juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.

To detox: Green Goodness Smoothie

Combine ½ cup stemmed kale, ½ cup apple cider, ½ cored apple, and 2 hulled strawberries in a blender. Blend until smooth. Stir together green juice mixture and ½ cup low-fat or nonfat vanilla bean yogurt in a glass until combined.
