(Stage 1) Serve this sweet and spicy fruit puree after you have introduced pears without any reaction from your baby.
INGREDIENTS: 2 pears, peeled and cut into cubes
1/2 tsp. freshly grated ginger
2 tbsp. water
METHOD: 1. Heat pears, ginger and water in a small saucepan over low heat.
2. Cover and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and puree in a blender or a food processor.
4. Transfer to ice cube trays and freeze overnight.
5. Remove from trays and store in freezer bags until ready to use.
