Scrumptious Strawberry French Toast
Florida Crystals Organic Sugar-strawberries-cinnamon-vanilla-soy milk
By Meagan Rich, Age 7

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups strawberries, sliced
3 Tbsp. Florida Crystals Organic Sugar
3 eggs
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup soy milk
6 slices bread
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
1/4 to 1/2 cup Florida Crystals Organic Sugar, to taste

METHOD:
1. Place a glass bowl in the freezer.
2. Place sliced strawberries into a small bowl and add 2 Tbsp. Florida Crystals Organic Sugar. Mix well and set aside.
3. Next, make whipped cream by taking bowl from the freezer and adding heavy whipping cream.
4. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat cream. While mixing, carefully add 1/4 to 1/2 cup Florida Crystals Organic Sugar, depending on desired sweetness. Whipped cream is ready when stiff peaks form upon lifting the beaters from the bowl. Place whipped cream into the refrigerator until ready to serve.
5. Begin to make French toast by heating frying pan over a medium heat.
6. In a shallow dish, slightly beat 3 eggs with a wire whisk.
7. Add soy milk, cinnamon, vanilla and 1 Tbsp. Florida Crystals Organic Sugar to egg mixture.
8. One by one, dip bread slices into egg mixture and coat well on both sides.
9. Place dipped bread into the frying pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the bottom side is lightly browned. Flip and brown other side.
10. Place French toast on a plate, spoon some strawberries on the top and finish off with a dollop of yummy whipped cream.
