Eco-friendly frog craft

Frog

Materials:

Old greeting card
Scissors
Nontoxic glue stick
Hot glue gun (use with parental supervision)
Pipe cleaners
Empty bottle of lotion or other small tube

Instructions:

1. Download the shape template by clicking here. Print out two shapes on cardstock, and then cut on the lines using scissors. This will be the head and base of your frog.

2. Cut accessories for your frog (tongue, eyes, and feet) from additional cardstock scraps. Attach the accessories to your frog’s base and head using a glue stick.

3. Twirl your pipe cleaners around your lotion bottle to create springs, then use hot glue to attach the tips to the base and head of your frog.

Eco-friendly bunny craft

Bunny

Materials:

Old greeting card
Scissors
Pipe cleaners
Bottle of lotion or other small tube
Large pom poms
Hot glue gun (use with parental supervision)

 Instructions:

1. Trim ear and feet shapes from old greeting cards using scissors.

2. Twirl your pipe cleaner around your lotion bottle to create one large spring. Then use hot glue to attach the tip of your spring to a large pom pom.

3. Attach the other end of your spring to your feet shapes. Then secure your bunny’s ears to his head using the hot glue.
