6 Super Seasoning Blends

Make your meals more flavorful! These six seasoning blends add plenty of spice to dishes from around the world and can easily be made using a base of pantry spices. Each recipe makes about ⅛–¼ cup of spice mix and can be doubled or tripled as necessary. 

Taco Seasoning


  • 3 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt 
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin 
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano 
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika 
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Greek Seasoning


  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano 
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil 
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme 
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper 

Italian Seasoning


  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley 
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano 
  • 1 teaspoon dried coriander 
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme 
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper 

Indian Curry 


  • 1 Tablespoon garam masala 
  • 2 teaspoons salt 
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin 
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin 
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Everything Bagel 


  • 2 teaspoons white sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons black sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt flakes
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onion 
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds 
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper 
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
