  2. What an amazing idea to have hospitals have food from farms, farm to table. I have been amazed how unhealthy hospital food can be. This is going to be such an informative fun week. I try hard to keep chemicals far away from my children and family. Plastics scare me, we are almost 100% organic and always looking for healthier products.   10. Wild Planet brand really opened my eyes to sustainability several years ago. I try to incorporate sardines weekly—I prefer fresh but usually canned is readily available. I haven’t tried this brand and now I will. I’d love to see more Kid friendly recipes that incorporate sardines—maybe something like a noodle casserole (my kids love that w tuna).

  24. I just finished watching ” Is An Organic Lunch Truly Healthier?” and I must say I have learned something I had no idea of before. I love his advise about friending a local farmer. I think this is super important. Sometimes I was Leary of the labels of organic things but now I know what is put into becoming an organic farmer and being certified. I am glad that I learned about what is going on at the Rodale institute.

  27. After watching “Will There Be Wild Fish For Our Grandchildren?,” I can hardly believe what is considered “sustainable” fish. I had no idea the amount of fish that are discarded with non selective fishing. It is so sad! But, it is so wonderful that Wild Planet uses the pole in line fishing. I love that I can feed my family fish and feel comfortable about it. It is great that there is a solution for the environment and health. We as consumers need to demand good food that meet high standards. I love that Wild Planet is trying to demonstrate how things should be done.

  28. Fish oil is squeezed out of fish (for people to have capsules to consume) and the rest is ground into fishmeal to feed fish (salmon) that we eat, but looses so much nutritional value because of it. WOW! I learned a lot from this video!

  484. First off I would like to say fantastic blog!
    I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
    I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
    I’ve had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my thoughts
    out there. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like
    the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted
    simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints?
