Children Make Terrible Pets and other stories about family scholastic DVD

Scholastic DVDs are really wonderful; children read the books and then see their favorite characters come to life on the screen.  While we try to limit

screen time for our kids, the Scholastic DVD is our go-to for long car rides or long airport waits.  And, we have discovered so many books through the DVDs.  For example, Children Make Terrible Pets by Peter Brown is a fun, evocative story where a bear named Lucy decides a human child would be a great pet.  We discovered this adorable story for 3-6 year olds through this Scholastic DVD, and many more great stories as well.
