This quirky picture book is a testimony to each student’s individuality. When a new kid (Marshall Armstrong) comes to school with gigantic ears and wearing a tie, other kids stare and gossip. And, over time, they realize Marshall Armstrong is pretty cool and special. He becomes a friend. And, then another interesting character is new to the school. The author and illustrator (David Mackintosh) sets a spot-on tone of that icky, sticky feeling of being the new kid, but eventually finding your way.
