Not only did Jack Witherspoon come up with a very tasty and unique cookbook for kids at the ripe old age of 12, he takes his skills on the road to help other kids who are fighting cancer. Diagnosed with leukemia at 2, Jack was unable to spend time with friends because of his weakened immune system. He fought the disease but then it returned when he was 6. Again unable to be among friends, he turned to the cooking channel and found a passion for food. He and his co-authors have come up with delicious and (mostly) healthy recipes that kids will love. A great story on an amazing kid may just inspire your kids to discover their inner chef.
