Swap a store-bought Easter basket for this DIY version using an old shoebox and washi tape (a special printed tape made from rice).
Materials
- Shoebox
- Scissors
- Non-toxic glue
- Washi tape
Directions
- Take the top of your shoebox and cut several 1 ½-inch wide strips. Attach strips together using glue to create one large long strip. This will be the handle for your basket.
- Secure one end of the strip to the inner left side of the box with glue. Once that dries, secure the remaining end to the inner right side.
- Decorate your basket with washi tape by creating patterns on the outer surfaces.
