- 1/4 cup dish soap
- 3/4 cup cold water
- 5 drops of vegetable glycerin (available at natural food stores)

Instructions
- Mix the dish soap, cold water, and drops of vegetable glycerin in a bowl.
- Blow your bubbles with a slotted spoon or a wire hanger bent into a circle.
How long can you keep a bubble up? How about two bubbles—or three? The glycerin keeps the bubbles from popping too quickly; wearing cotton gloves can help, too, according to Jane Drake and Ann Love, who came up with the idea for their book, Get Outside: The Kids Guide to Fun in the Great Outdoors (Kids Can Press Ltd.).
