How to Mix and Shape Meat Loaf

  1. Using a fork, gently mash the ground meat and the other ingredients together, making sure that everything is evenly distributed.
  2. Wash your hands well, but don’t dry them. Just shake off a little of the water.
  3. In the bowl, bring the meat together into a ball shape using your hands. If the meat gets too sticky, wet your hands again.
  4. Plop the meat onto the baking pan and pat it into a rectangle about 7 inches by 4 inches. Don’t worry, the shape doesn’t have to be perfect! Don’t forget to wash your hands again.
