Ingredients

Makes servings

12 ounces almond milk

½ teaspoon reishi  (a type of mushroom known for its stress-relieving and immune-boosting properties)

1 teaspoon maca (a plant that grows in central Peru and is used for balancing hormones and alleviating menstrual problems)

Pea-size amount of shilajit resin (a rock-like substance used to reduce pain and inflammation)

½ teaspoon ho shou wu (derived from the roots of the Polygonum multiflorum plant and best known for its anti-aging properties)

½ teaspoon pearl powder (ground from freshwater pearls and used for healthy hair, clear skin, and strong nails)

3 drops of stevia

When we asked Amanda Chantal Bacon, owner of the organic juice and nut milk shop Moon Juice, how she begins her day, she told us she makes a big chi drink. Here, she shares her power-packed recipe.

Directions

1. In a small saucepan, warm almond milk over medium-low heat until almost simmering.

2. Combine almond milk with remaining ingredients in a high-powered blender for about 30 seconds. Make sure the shilajit resin has broken down.

3. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy!
