Ingredients

Makes 12 servings

1/2 cup soy-free, nonhydrogenated margarine (at room temperature)

3 Tablespoons rice milk or other dairy-free milk of choice

3 1/4 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

This simple, 4-ingredient recipe is great for any special occasion! To jazz up our frosted treats, we used Maggie’s Naturals Pink Food Coloring which gets its vibrant hue from vegetable extracts and a spoonful of India Tree Nature’s Colors Sprinkles

Directions

1. In a large bowl or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat margarine until soft.

2. Add the powdered sugar in batches, and then add rice milk and vanilla.

3. Beat for 3 to 5 minutes, until light and fluffy.

Note: If not using right away, cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
