Makes 2 servings
2 organic cucumbers
3 stalks celery
2 cups spinach
5 leaves chard or kale
1 bunch cilantro
1 Granny Smith apple
1 organic lemon with ends removed and rind on
1-inch piece of ginger
1 thumbnail-sized piece of ginger, crushed
Lemon juice, from 1/2 an organic lemon
Thumbnail-sized piece of ginger
2 shots organic vodka
Ice cubes
Candied ginger, organic (for garnish)

Directions
1. For green juice: Rinse cucumbers, celery, spinach, chard or kale, cilantro, apple, whole lemon and 1-inch piece of ginger well. Add ingredients to a juicer and run until the liquid is smooth. (If you don’t have a home juicer, make this in a blender—it will come out as a delicious green smoothie.) Makes about 32 ounces.
2. Fill a shaker or Mason jar with 2 shots of green juice, 2 shots of vodka, juice from ½ a lemon, crushed ginger, and ice cubes. Shake well.
3. Strain and pour into your fanciest martini glass.
4. Garnish with organic candied ginger and enjoy.
