We asked 100 Days of Real Food blogger and author Lisa Leake for her favorite quick pick-me-up. Her secret? A delicious maple syrup mocha drink! Leake’s recipe combines espresso (for an energy boost) with natural ingredients like unsweetened cocoa and pure maple syrup to lend flavor without added sugar and sweeteners. 2. While the milk heats, stir together the cocoa and maple syrup until the mixture looks wet.
