Ingredients

Makes 6 servings

8 cups air-popped or stove-top popcorn

½ cup honey

¼ cup sugar

¾ teaspoon salt

1 Tablespoon Sambucol

For the drizzle

2 Tablespoons powdered sugar

1 Tablespoon Sambucol

Directions

1. Place popcorn on a large baking sheet and keep warm in a 200°F oven.

2. In a bowl, combine honey, sugar, and salt. Microwave on high for 2–3 minutes or until honey is bubbling.

3. Add Sambucol and stir until well mixed. Immediately pour over popcorn and shake/stir until evenly coated.

4. Let popcorn cool for at least five minutes before shaping into 5-inch balls. Make sure to press balls together firmly. Place on a plate or tray covered in plastic wrap before letting refrigerate for 15 minutes.

5. Mix together 1 Tablespoon of Sambucol and 2 Tablespoons of powdered sugar to create a drizzle. Remove popcorn balls from the fridge and drizzle mixture over. Refrigerate again for 15 minutes before serving.

Mom Pro Tip: Use plastic sandwich baggies to cover your hands and spray with cooking oil to prevent sticking to the popcorn balls while shaping them.
