Makes 10 servings

1 quart of blueberries

1 quart of strawberries

3 bananas

10-12 thin bamboo skewers

Simple and delicious, this three-ingredient fruity American “flag” is a fun way to celebrate the holiday while enjoying feel-good food. 


1. Wash and dry blueberries and strawberries.

2. Cut off the tops of the strawberries and cut in half. Slice bananas into ½ inch thick slices.

3. Alternate skewering banana pieces and strawberries on half of the skewers. On the remaining half, fill half the skewers with blueberries and the other half with alternating strawberry and banana pieces.

4. Lay skewers in the shape of an American flag on a serving platter and serve for a fun and festive fruity treat.
