Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients


Makes 4 servings

16 oz frozen strawberries, thawed for 15–20 minutes

1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

2 cups whipping cream

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions

1. In a medium-size bowl, place thawed berries and mash well with a meat mallet. Add condensed milk and stir well.

2. Using a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

3. Add the whipped cream to the strawberry mixture in three batches, folding it in each time. Add chocolate chips and fold in gently.

4. Transfer to an airtight container or a loaf pan covered with plastic wrap. Freeze overnight.
