Somewhere over the thumbprint rainbow is a pot of gold! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this Rainbow Thumbprint Craft, perfect for all ages. Simply grab the washable paint colors of the rainbow, black and white construction paper, scissors, and glue and get going on this fun activity.

Materials
- Washable paint
- White construction paper
- Black construction paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Non-toxic glue stick
Directions
- Trace and cut a pot of gold using the black construction paper. The size should roughly be ¼ of the paper.
- Glue the pot onto the white paper in the lower left corner.
- Squeeze your chosen colors onto a plate. (We recommend: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet.)
- Dip your thumb into the red and start your fingerprint line on the left edge of the pot, arching it to the right. (This line should be the largest.)
- Continue the rainbow with each color, washing the thumb in between colors.
